The Emerson MVME6100 is a high-performance 6U VME single-board computer (SBC) originally developed by Motorola and later integrated into Emerson’s product lineup. It is powered by a 1.267GHz MPC7457 PowerPC processor paired with a 128-bit AltiVec coprocessor, and supports up to 2GB of on-board DDR ECC memory and 128MB of flash memory, enabling efficient parallel processing for data-intensive tasks. As the first VMEbus board adopting the Tundra Tsi148 interface chip, it supports the 2eSST protocol, boasting a high data transfer rate of up to 320MB/s. Equipped with dual gigabit Ethernet interfaces and two PMC-X expansion sites, it allows flexible addition of custom functional modules. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and industrial-grade durability, it works stably in harsh environments. Compatible with operating systems like VxWorks and Linux, it is widely applied in aerospace, military electronics, industrial automation and power sectors, serving as a core component for radar systems, turbine control and critical process control.
