GE IS200VTURH2BAC is a high-performance analog I/O board belonging to GE’s Mark V series, specifically engineered for gas turbine control systems. It excels at scaling and conditioning a wide array of analog signals from terminal boards mounted on I/O cores R1, R2, and R3, covering LVDT inputs, servo valve outputs, thermocouple inputs, 4–20 mA signals, vibration inputs, and generator line signals, among others. It communicates with other boards via dedicated connectors—for instance, the 3PL connector writes signals to the STCA board, while the JE connector transmits and receives generator and line signals with the TCQC board. Equipped with configurable hardware jumpers for setting current ranges and board testing, this rugged board plays a pivotal role in processing critical signals like compressor stall detection and fuel flow pressure, ensuring the stable and safe operation of turbine systems in power generation and petrochemical industries.
STAI INSTALLATION:
A sheet metal carrier that is mounted on a DIN rail carries the STAI together with a plastic insulator. The STAI plus insulator can alternatively mount to a sheet metal assembly before being fastened directly to a cabinet. There are two different varieties of Euro-block terminal blocks available:
- A permanently mounted terminal block with 48 terminals is present on STAI 1.
- A right-angle header on STAI 2 accepts a variety of pluggable terminal blocks that are readily accessible and have a total of 48 terminals.
- Typically, shielded twisted pair (#18 AWG) wires are utilized. There is an I/O cable shield terminal available next to the terminal blocks.
It is possible to accept the following analog input and output types:
- Two-wire transmitter with analog input.
- Three-wire transmitter with analog input.
- Four-wire transmitter with analog input.
- An externally powered transmitter with an analog input.
- Analog input, 5 and 10 volts direct current.
- 0-20 mA current analog output.
- Analog output, current of 0-200 mA.
