The GE IS215VPROH2BC is a 16-channel voltage input module for GE’s Mark VIe turbine control platform. Designed for precise measurement of generator/stator voltages (0–300V AC), it provides RMS/phasor data to the turbine controller (/) via VME backplane. ⚠️ Critical Integration Notes:
- PT Connections: Use twisted/shielded pairs (AWG 18 min) – shield grounded ONLY at cabinet.
- Range Selection: Configure via VPRO_SW ToolboxST™ parameter – incorrect setting damages ADC.
- Grounding: Module chassis MUST bond to star ground – noise >2% FS if floating.
- Firmware Dependency: Requires Mark VIe controller ≥R196 or VPHD faults occur.
- Slot Restrictions: Install ONLY in VME slots 2–5 of carrier (slots 1/6 disable channels).
- Harmonic Setup: Enable HARM_OPT=1 in configuration – defaults to RMS-only mode.
- Replacement Procedure: Power down ENTIRE carrier – hot-swap corrupts VME arbitration.
