The HIMA F8650X 984865065 is a high-performance core processor module for HIMax safety instrumented systems (SIS), adhering to SIL 3 safety integrity level as per IEC 61508 and PL e Cat.4 standards under ISO 13849. It adopts a dual clock-synchronized 32-bit microprocessor design, paired with 512MB DDR3 RAM and 128MB NAND Flash, enabling efficient handling of complex safety logic and massive data-processing tasks. Equipped with two electrically isolated RS485 serial interfaces, it can achieve Ethernet connection and support protocols like Modbus TCP by matching the F8627X communication module. Fed with 5V DC via the backplane bus and consuming around 10W typically, it operates stably between -20°C and +60°C. It is furnished with a 4-digit alphanumeric display and LED indicators for real-time fault diagnosis, and supports redundancy configuration to ensure uninterrupted operation. Widely used in oil and gas, petrochemical, and power industries, it serves as the core of emergency shutdown systems and fire & gas systems to safeguard critical industrial processes.
