The ICS TRIPLEX T8403C is a 24V DC trusted digital input module belonging to the T8000 series, featuring a triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture to ensure fault tolerance for safety-critical industrial applications. It comes with 40 TMR input channels, and each field input is triplicated with a sigma – delta input circuit for voltage measurement, plus selectable line monitoring per channel to detect open and short – circuit faults in field wiring. Equipped with a 2500V impulse – withstand galvanic isolation barrier and configurable 50/60Hz digital filtering, it effectively resists electromagnetic interference and field – induced noise. It also offers on – board 1ms resolution sequence of events (SOE) reporting and comprehensive automatic diagnostics for quick fault troubleshooting. Supporting hot – swap functionality to minimize downtime, this CE and UL – certified module complies with IEC 61508 SIL 3 standards and operates stably at -40°C to 85°C. It seamlessly integrates with ICS Triplex control systems and is widely applied in oil & gas, chemical and power generation sectors for safety instrumented systems and critical process monitoring.
