The ICS TRIPLEX T8461 is a 24/48Vdc digital output module of the Trusted TMR series, featuring a triple modular redundant architecture tailored for safety-critical industrial scenarios. It is equipped with 40 TMR output channels divided into five independent 8-channel power groups, delivering 0.75A continuous current per channel and 6A per group, and adapting to an 18 – 60Vdc field voltage range. Certified to IEC 61508 SIL 3 by TÜV, it has a 2500V impulse-withstand galvanic isolation barrier and per-channel electronic short-circuit protection without the need for external fuses. It supports 1ms resolution sequence of events reporting and continuous automatic diagnostics, which can detect open and short circuits in field wiring and load devices. With hot-swappable capability for easy on-line replacement, it is fitted with front-panel LEDs for real-time status and fault monitoring. Widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical and power sectors, it serves as a key component in safety instrumented systems and emergency shutdown systems.
