ICS TRIPLEX T8461C is a Trusted™ triple modular redundant (TMR) digital output module engineered for safety-critical industrial applications, compliant with IEC 61508 SIL 3 standards and TÜV certification. Designed to operate with 24/48Vdc field power, it features 40 isolated TMR output channels divided into five independent 8-channel power groups, delivering 0.75A continuous current per channel and 6A per group for reliable control of solenoid valves, actuators, and other field devices. Equipped with 2500V galvanic isolation, electronic short-circuit protection (no external fuses required), and 1ms-resolution sequence of events (SOE) reporting, it ensures robust performance and rapid fault detection in harsh environments (oil & gas, petrochemicals, power generation). Supporting hot-swappable installation and real-time status monitoring via front-panel LEDs, the module seamlessly integrates with ICS Triplex TMR control systems, serving as a core component for safety instrumented systems (SIS) and emergency shutdown (ESD) architectures.
