The GE SR489-P5-LO-A1 is an advanced generator protection relay for synchronous machines up to 600 MVA. It provides comprehensive fault detection (87G/40/46/32/51V), loss-of-field (40) protection, and breaker failure (50BF) logic. Includes synchrophasor measurement (IEEE C37.118), FlexLogic™ programmable functions, and 100% stator ground fault protection via 3rd harmonic neutral.
